    Contrast Experiment Study on CO2 and C3F7H in Inhibiting CH4 Explosion

    • Active air jet explosion suppression technology has irreplaceable advantages, and to research and develop active gas explosion suppression device, the suppression effect of CO2 and C3F7H two kinds of gas anti explosion agent on CH4 explosion was carried out through contrast experiments study by the use of 20 L explosion characteristic testing system. Through the research, it is found that the gas explosion suppression agent can have very good explosion suppression effect only after fully intensive mixing with the flammable air mixture; under the condition of the ignition delay time of 60 ms, the minimum explosion suppression concentrations of CO2 and C3F7H under the experimental conditions were 19.4% and 17.4%; C3F7H concentration which is lower than the explosion suppression can promote the combustion and explosion of CH4 with the combustion effect; CO2 and C3F7H have advantages and disadvantages in the inhibition of CH4 explosion respectively.
