    Distribution of Gas Emission at Fully Mechanized Top Coal Caving Face in High Gas and Super Thick Coal Seam in Xiagou Mine

    • In order to grasp gas emission distribution laws of fully mechanized top coal caving face in high gas and super thick seam, for the features of thick coal seam, high gas content, complex geological conditions, heavy geological disaster in Xiagou Mine ZF301 working face, using the work surface meshing principle, we analyze composition of working face gas sources, gas space distribution and mal-conformation, and obtain that the gas source of working face is mainly gas desorption of coal mining and goaf, gas emission, and distribution imbalance coefficient is 2.34; gas concentration distribution in 110# station (110# stent) along the tendency direction of working face reached maximum; the gas concentration before stents is greater than that after stents from 1# to 95# station in the vertical direction of working face coal wall and in contrast after 95# station; absolute gas emission quantity of working face and daily output was basically a positive correlation, and the relationship between the relative gas emission quantity and yield is the negative correlation.
