Analysis of Gas Geological Control Factors for Lyujiatuo Mine

    • Based on the analysis of coal samples, experimental test data, actual production data, we analyze the gas geological controlling factors of Lyujiatuo Mine. The results prove that the 7, 8, 9, 12-1 coal seam of Lyujiatuo Mine shows different characteristics of storage; 12-1 coal seam presents better gas adsorption. The study area has many large tensile fractures, and the magmatic rocks are very developed, which causes the crack development of coal seam roof and floor; the overall content of the coal seam gas is lower. The direct factors of obvious anomaly gas emission are the high mud content and sharply change thickness of coal seam roof-floor, and passing through the small tensile fault zone.
