    Study on Power Coordination and Load Balance Control of Scraper Conveyor

    • Scraper conveyer is the transport equipment of fully-mechanized coal face, the load changes with shearer's direction and coal quantity without regularity. The load characteristics of scraper conveyor are studied on the basis of variable frequency drive that using double motor master-slave control mode to realize the balance of output power before and after drive motors from scraper conveyor. On the basis of introducing the fuzzy control laws, taking scraper chain speed as the control object and constant coal load per unit length of scraper chain coaling section as the control target, we realize the intelligent control of load and speed of scraper conveyor. This control method can achieve a balance of power between two motors, can achieve load balancing of scraper chain units, can improve mine coal output and reduce energy consumption.
