  • From the perspective of dialectics of nature, we define the outburst mechanism, outburst prediction technology, outburst forecasting equipment and technology, and research scope, tasks, and requirements of outburst prediction practice, clarify the relationship of outburst mechanism and outburst prediction. On the basis of these requirements, we summarize progress and achievements of study in recent years, and propose the focus of outburst prediction study.
