Analysis of Strata Behavior Characteristic of Gob-side Entry Driving in Large Mining Height and Fully Mechanized Caving Mining

    • Based on the engineering background of 8204 working face of Tashan Coal Mine, we experimentally study gob-side entry driving in large mining height and fully mechanized caving mining. The mine strata pressure feature of gob-side entry driving in 8204 trial working face is studied by using different methods including borehole imaging, surface displacement of entry, compared with big coal pillar in tunneling and mining. The test shows that the gob-side entry is located in stress relaxed area when the coal pillar width is 6 m and roadway surrounding rock deformation is effectively controlled.
