    Causes Analysis of Gas Explosion Accident from Perspective of Equipment and Facilities Classification

    • Aiming at the gas explosion accident, we propose a new method to analyze the causes of methane accumulation and sources of ignition source, that is, from the perspective of equipment and facilities' classification. According to 201 cases of major explosion accidents of ten years form 2000 to 2009, 6 kinds of equipment and facilities directly related to the accumulation of methane are divided, and similarly, 4 kinds to the sources of ignition. Furthermore, every kind of equipment and facility is divided into several concrete kinds in detail. Therefore, the look-up table is built. Classification of equipment and facilities and clarification of their influences contribute to relative management pertinently.
