    Numerical Analysis of Risk Assessment About Rock Burst Under the Condition of Closed Distance Seam Group Mining

    • Taking closed distance seam group mining in a rock burst coal mine as research object, the working faces in M4-5 and M9-10 coal seams were simulated by numerical analysis software FLAC3D. On the basis, the stress state and plastic zone distribution of surrounding rock was analyzed, considering that the coal seam mining destroyed the integrity of overlying rock and floor strata, weaken the intensity of rock, reduced the energy concentration during mining the lower coal seam. So the mining of M4-5 and M9-10 coal seams has a certain protective effect. But, it is worth noting that, affected by the cumulated influence of high intensity mining, the coal pillars in the areas of boundary, stop line and not arranged in the upper goaf at the bottom of the working face, formed stress concentration easily, and then caused rock burst.
