    Mechanical Characteristics of High Strength Yielding Anchor Bolt and Its Structural Optimization

    • Numerical calculation model of single high strength bolt is established by applying finite element software Abaqus, we analyze the mechanical performance of yielding anchor bolt and systematically study the effect of different yielding anchor structure parameters on mechanical properties of yielding bolt. The results show that compared with the ordinary bolt, yielding anchor bolt increases the compressive elastic stage, can withstand greater deformation, and thus prevent bolt prematurely entering into yield; yielding anchor amount depends on the height of the pressure ring, yielding anchor loading depends on wall thickness of pressure ring; yielding anchor ring drums and pressure ring end size of crush anchor has less mechanics performance on yielding anchor bolt.
