    Channel Wave Seismic Exploration Technology for Extremely Unstable Coal Seam

    • In order to solve some problems, such as the abandoned roadway, blind reconstruction and the low production efficiency caused by coal thickness variation, the transmission method of channel wave seismic exploration was applied in coal mine underground. Based on the relationship between Love wave velocity and coal thickness under the specific frequency, through some data processing means, for example dispersion analysis, picking up wave velocity, CT imaging and so on, the coal thickness change was forecasted in working face, and the thin coal seam area was delineated that the thickness was less than 1.5 m. By roadway exploration and stoping, the accuracy was verified.
