    The Supporting Technology of Fully Mechanized Top-coal Caving Mining Gateway with Soft Roof in Extra-thick Seam

    • With the purpose of studying a reasonable support pattern of top coal caving mining gateway for 13# extra-thick seam in a coal mine,and solving the deformation and failure problems of the coal roof of mining gateway,this paper,taking the field project as background,analyzed the mechanism of mining gateway deformation failure at present supporting system and used the FLAC3D numerical simulation software to simulate the different results at different supporting systems.Finally it gave a reasonable support form.The numerical simulation results indicated the necessity of the similar combined arch and prestressed anchor rope suspending action in the bolt support.Through on-site industrial test and observation,it confirmed the feasibility and rationality of the new combined support technology.
