    Surface Vertical Shafts and Underground Horizontal Holes Joint Development Technology for Coalbed Methane in Coal Field

    • In the coal mining area, exploitation and utilization of coalbed methane is beneficial for economy, safety and environment protection. We present a new kind of technical method for coalbed methane exploitation with the joint development of surface vertical shafts and underground horizontal boreholes, and its technical principle, recovery channels, key construction technique and recovery technique are introduced in detail, and the potential technology advantages of the new technology are analyzed. On the basis of theoretical research, in Jincheng Sihe Coal Field, the drainage technique, water is produced by underground horizontal directional boreholes and coalbed methane is produced through the surface vertical well without power, was carried out; and test results show that the principle of technical method is practicable.
