Mechanical Mechanism of Overlying Loess Landslide Formation at Outer Edge of Mining-affected Zone

    • Taking Poutou landslide in Yangquan City of Shanxi Province as an example, on the basis of detailed identification of mining engineering geological conditions, deformation and failure characteristics, spatial relationship between gob and landslides and mining subsidence features, we analyzed the stress-strain relationship and displacement deformation characteristics of quaternary loess outside of mining influence region by the FLAC3D numerical simulation software. We get the mechanical mechanism of the landslide as follows that loess landslides are controlled by movement and deformation of overlying strata in gob area. The creeping of overlying strata has magnifying effects on the extrusion deformation of the surface loess. Loess landslide has energy aggregation.
