  • This paper describes the video coding standard H.264 and 3G network connection technology.For the complex work environment of coal mine,the method of using 3G network technology to achieve wireless video monitoring is proposed,the H.264 coding standard and channel transmission RTP / RTCP protocols which are applicable in 3G environment are selected,and the purpose of mobile remote video surveillance of the production status in mine is achieved.
