Influence of Air Flow on Spontaneous Combustion Characteristics of Residual Coal

    • The coal of Luning Mine is equally divided into five groups according to the weight. By using the self-developed temperature-programmed experimental device, the programmed heating experiments for coal samples from the five groups were done. This article calculates and analyzes the generated gases in the process of temperature-programmed using the gas chromatograph and studies the influence of air flow on the real oxygen consumption rate of coal, the standard oxygen consumption rate of coal and the standard exothermic intensity in the temperature-programmed process. The results show that the curves of the standard oxygen consumption rate and the standard exothermic intensity are exponential growth under different air flow. The curve changes of the standard oxygen consumption rate and the standard exothermic intensity are not affected by the size of the air flow.
