Abstract
Floor grooving is an active measure to control floor heave by changing the stress state of surrounding rock.The influence of floor grooving on surrounding rock deformation and stress evolution law under different lateral pressure coefficients were researched by numerical simulation.The results show that floor grooving can lead to increase of sides and floor displacement,it is more suitable for roadway with large lateral pressure coefficient from the control point of rock deformation;the influence of floor grooving on roof rock stress distribution isn′t obvious;with the increase of grooving depth,the stress peak of sides and floor shifts to deep parts and the peak decreases at the same time;sides take the stress peak decreasing as the principal and the main change of floor is that the stress peak shifts to deep parts;the larger of lateral pressure coefficient,the smaller of distance of sides and roof peak shifting to deep parts.
