Roadway Deformation Characteristics and Control of Compound Roof

Concerning the intense distortion and large roof sinking of surrounding rocks in Jinhuiwanfeng Coal Mine in Shanxi province, combined with field research, theoretical analysis and underground measurement, we analyzed the support difficulties of compound roof roadway, proposed the key technology of surrounding rock compound roof，including high pre-stress cable and full-length anchoring bolt support system, the technology of coordination anchor bolt support, reinforcement in roadway sides technology. Industrial tests show that the deformation control of surrounding rock achieved good results after improving support scheme.
