Development of Mine Static Var Generator Based on DSP

  • A set of static var generator (SVG) device was developed, which uses a method based on instantaneous reactive power theory to detect reactive current. The article analyzed SVG control strategy; adopted direct current to control three closed-loop control structure, based on which used SVPWM modulation to produce the desired pulse drive signals. Then the article introduced software and hardware design scheme of SVG and the design of the protection system.
