    Impact of Roadway Shape on High Stress Soft Rock Roadway Deformation

    • For the problems of serious deformation of withstanding high stress soft rock roadway caused by the lack of hard key in upper layer. In this paper, taking Xingcun Coal Mine as engineering background, based on the finite difference software FLAC3D, we systematically studied the influence laws of cross-sectional shape of roadway on the roadway deformation, stress, and plastic zone. The results showed that the two walls of rectangular roadway were in uneven pressure under eccentric pressure; the two walls of keystone roadway were in uniform pressure and the horizontal deformation was small; semicircle with arched and arched tunnels was between two. Arched roadway with good mechanical properties was a better choice.
