Roof Control for Irregular Working Face in Yujialiang Coal Mine

In the mining process of Yujialiang Coal Mine, irregular working face will present due to the mine boundary. In order to eliminate the threaten of large unsupported roof, roof movement of irregular working face need to be studied. The theory analysis and field observation show that the key strata will be break and unstable after calculating the limit minning area and designing the block dimension and minning sequence, the roof will achieve safe caving.
