The Cooling Effect Analysis of Yongchuan Coal Mine Ventilation System Optimization

    • In order to analyze the cooling effect of high temperature mine working face from the perspective of the ventilation system optimization and demonstrate the feasibility of increasing air cooling, this article uses FLUENT numerical simulation software and wind temperature prediction to analyze the airflow temperature change conditions in Yongchuan Coal Mine working face in conditions of low speed(2.6 m/s) and limit wind speed (4.0 m/s) .The result is that increasing air flow has a significant effect on improving the weather conditions of the face when the air quantity or wind speed is low(less than 3 m/s); but it has a little effect and can be ignored when the wind speed is 3.1 to 3.8 m/s (air flow in close to limit). At this point, heat injury problems can only be resolved by a mechanical refrigeration cooling mode.
