Deep Hole Pre-splitting Blasting New Technology and Its Application for Hard Roof

For the large overhang and hazard problem at mining face during early mining period in hard roof, this article described the shortcomings of traditional shallow hole blasting, and pointed the distinction with deep hole cracking blasting. The paper discussed rock failure process in the explosive shock waves during deep hole blasting from theoretical aspects, and proposed determination of reasonable blasting parameters of hole blasting, and conducted engineering practice.
