    Application of 3D Visualization Technology in Roadway Development

    • Based on the research status of 3D visualization technology in the coal industry, using the 3D MAX modeling technology and 3D MAX built-in tools which create terrain and NURBS surface, the article displays the virtual of mining topography, roadway and other production systems from mining topography, geology, roadway layout and other aspects by taking roadway development period as entry point, and combined with the advantages of less storage capacity, higher self-contained type and adjustable curved CV of NURBS surface technology, it creats conditions of simulation for floor heave, caving and extrusion of surrounding rock in producing process.
