Design of Triangular Groove Helix Drilling Rod

Drilling construction is very difficult because of the soft, broken, low bearing capacity outburst seam. In order to solve the jamming and burying problems occurred when helix drilling rods were in soft and outburst seam, a triangular groove helix drilling rod was designed, the structural characteristics and working principle of integral triangular helix drilling rod was discussed. Field industrial tests have verified the application effect of the drilling rod.
