Study on Preheating Mine Ventilation Airflow by Return Air Heat Recycled by Heat Pipe Heat Exchanger

    • In this article, taking the mine air volume 8 000 m3/min as an example, mine return air enthalpy heat equation and heat balance equation were built based on the heat pipe theory and heat transfer theory, computational fluid dynamics analysis software Fluent is used to carry on numerical simulation for the effect of waste heat recovery system. The study showed that the temperature of fresh air was larger than -29 ℃ when the mine air volume was 8 000 m3/min, then heat pipe heat exchanger can met the preheat requirements of fresh air with recycled return air heat. By the numerical simulation analysis, for different air volume coal mines, when the temperature was larger than the stagnation temperature, the return air preheating recycled by heat pipe heat exchanger can complete the warm-up of the fresh air independently.
