Measurement and Characteristics Analysis of Geo-stress in Panbei Coal Mine

    • In order to understand the stability condition of overlying strata and rocks of Panbei Coal Mine and research the distribution of geo-stress filed. Hollow inclusion stress relieving method was used to measure geo-stress of No.2 water pumping roadway at -490 m in east wing of Panbei Coal Mine, the size and direction of three-dimensional geo-stress was obtained. Results showed that horizontal stress was larger than vertical stress in this coal mine, maximum principal stress was near to east-west, which was 1.72 to 1.75 times of the minimum principal stress. The angle of medium principal stress and vertical stress was 6.39°, which is a great relationship with the geological structure of coal mine. Original supporting scheme was optimized by the measuring results of geo-stress, and the optimization effect is obvious.
