Application of Physical Exploration Method Combined Borehole Observation in Detecting Rock Mass Structure

    • Rock mass structure detection methods includes direct observation, physical exploration and drilling observation method. Due to complicated and affected by various factors, rock mass structure was often difficult to be accurately probed by one method alone. In this article, the probing of rock mass structure and failure adopted ground penetrating radar combining borehole observation to solve the problem of low probing depth of ground penetrating radar and space discontinuity in borehole observation, which plays the role of complementary advantages and a reliable basis for surrounding rock supporting design.
