    Groundwater Types and Water Source Discriminantion for Xinzheng Mining Area

    • Using the method of stable isotopes and water quality analysis, combined with atmospheric precipitation in previous years and the dynamic change actual data of water levels elevation in boreholes, discriminantion for groundwater types and water sources of XinZheng Mining Area is analyzed in detail. Atmospheric precipitation is the replenishment source of groundwater in this area. The research results show that groundwater recharge sources of Xinzheng Mining Area is atmospheric precipitation, the chemical characteristics of groundwater is mainly low mineralized bicarbonate water. The dynamic type of groundwater is deep-runoff, groundwater level changes with the seasons.
