Study on Development Height of Water Flowing Fractured Zone Controlled by Solid Filling Percentage

    • Solid filling mining overburden rock movement and deformation characteristics are analyzed in order to study the affect of solid filling percentage on development height of water flowing fractured zone, different solid filling percentage is calculated with equivalent mining height theory and empirical formula. The new way to calculate the height of water flowing fractured zone is established by using numerical simulation to simulate different solid filling ratio. The result is matching with the result of empirical formula. Industrial experiments show that the movement and deformation of the overlying strata can be effectively controlled by solid filling mining. The roof strata maintain its integrity. The water flowing fractured zone is in the range of about 10 m when mining height is 3.5 m and the mining filling ratio is 85%. Measured results are basically consistent with expected results.
