    Fault Monitoring Methods for Disc Brake System of Mine Hoist

    • The working principle and main fault of mine hoist disc brake are introduced in this paper, and the current research status of corresponding fault diagnosis is summarized. Based on the review of the monitoring methods of seven important parameters including brake pressure, brake pad wear, spring performance, brake torque, offset swing, blockage piston in cylinder and empty dynamic time, the further improvement of on-line monitoring methods for disc brake systems is also discussed.
