Study on Advance Support Technology of Large Cross-section Roadway at Double Unit Face

Large cross-section roadway at 3405E double unit face in Zhaizhen coal mine of Xinwen mining group reaches up to 5.2 m.Since the traditional advance support pattern by monomer pillar with hinged bar fails to meet the requirements of safety production,a support pattern of self-motion advanced hydraulic support which is suitble for large cross-section roadway has been designed in this paper by using such methods as numerical simulation,and the new model has been successfully applied in engineering practice.
