    • In this paper, it studied fire prevention and extinguishing technology of tail mining and dismantling supports of ZF1806 isolated island full-mechanized caving face in lower slice of easy spontaneous combustion coal seam in Xiagou Coal Mine. It took comprehensive fire prevention and extinguishing measures and used the innovative technology of"two in one out""W" type ventilation mode, which ensured the process of tail mining and dismantling supports in ZF1806 working face smoothly. The results verified the effectiveness of gel fire prevention and extinguishing technology, and the necessity of "W" type ventilation mode and speeding up the dismantling supports according to easy spontaneous combustion coal seam.
