Numerical Simulation of Using High Pressure Water Injection to Control Rockburst

    • In order to study the effect of using high pressure water injection to control roof rockburst, RFPA2D software is used to simulate caving situation of the overburden and the impact of stope pressure before and after the high-pressure water injection. The results show that coal wall becomes soft, coal is loose, coal pressure is reduced, the strata behavior is lower and coal energy has been released after the high pressure water injection, which reduces the risk of rock burst, makes the extraction smoothly and ensures the safe production of the whole mine.
