Strata Behaviors Laws in the First Mining Face Under the Condition of Hard Roof Weakening

Taking the first mining face of 11^# coal group in a coal mine as the research object, the paper analyzes the characteristics of strata behaviors, the laws of roof movement, and distribution laws of advancing abutment pressure in the working face after hard roof weakening. Meanwhile, the characteristics of support load during the first and periodic weighting of main roof are researched. The conclusion of paper provides experiences for follow-up mining in working face and coal seam with similar conditions.
