Theoretical Research on Stability Experiment of Bedding Rock Slope Under Near-field Earthquake by Blasting Simulation

    • Based on similarity theory, the feasibility of using small-scale blasting experiment to simulate the breakage of bedding rock slope under near-field earthquake is discussed. The dimensional analysis shows that the simulation can be achieved by controlling the size of the model to meet the geometry scale and shape parameters, and selecting similar material to satify the density ratio and velocity ratio, and further meet the similar ratio relations from loads, the physical properties and shape. Then, the simulation of the blasting on high intensity near-field earthquake can be realized theoretically.
