    • Hydraulic support is key equipment to realize high yield and efficiency of coal. The reasonable selection is an important guarantee for the success of mechanized mining process. In this paper, in order to selett hydraulic support for the "three soft" unstable thick coal seam in Songshan Coal Mine, the type of hydraulic support, the structure of top beam, support strength, lateral structure, understructure, side wall protection structure are analyzed. And the adaptability of hydraulic support is analyzed by measured data.
