Abstract:
Breaking load has been a major parameter in the inspection of stranded wire ropes for mine hosting. However, inappropriate approaches always lead to invalid data when experiment samples for over-tension test are prepared. The domestic and overseas clamp methods of wire ropes for mine hoisting are compared, and its affect on test results are discussed as well in this paper. Higher probability of successful experiment results in the inspection of over-tension intensity of wire ropes for mine hoisting could be expected with proper clamp methods and equipments.
