Abstract:
The ecologic environment is fragile and groundwater table is low in Western Coal Mining Areas,its surface is covered by the 4th loose sediments,loose soil and aeolian sand are the majority, there are distinct differences in permittivity between nonsaturated zones and saturated zones. Based on the analysis and research of engineering geology and hydrogeologic conditions, this paper shows the field detection of the Bulianta 32201 working face of Shendong Mining Area by using GPR. After the contrastive analysis of processed GPR section plane and borehole datum, it further proves the feasibility of detecting groundwater table in arid and semiarid region by GRP.
