Abstract:
Aiming at the problem of all-round video monitoring of equipment and personnel abnormal conditions in fully mechanized coal mining faces and unclear images in low-light environments, an all-round video monitoring scheme is constructed and an image enhancement method with limited contrast and adaptive histogram equalization is applied. 3 sets of mine PTZ cameras are installed on every 5 brackets in the fully mechanized mining face in order to all-round monitor the abnormal state of equipment and personnel. In the limited contrast and adaptive histogram equalization method, the distribution of histograms is limited by setting thresholds to avoid excessive enhancement, and double linear interpolation is used to remove the unbalanced effect of block edge transition caused by block processing. The image enhancement methods of contrast stretching, gamma transformation, histogram equalization, and limited contrast adaptive histogram equalization are used to perform enhanced contrast verification on images of coal mines. The results indicate that the enhancement effect of limited contrast and adaptive histogram equalization method is the best, and the images of fully mechanized mining face in underground coal mine are clearly displayed.
