Abstract:
The goaf of small coal mine with large buried depth and overlying soft rock has seriously affected the economy and people’s daily life of the region. Thus, the related remediation methods attract more and more attention. Take Baorixile Open-pit Coal Mine as an example, many goaf treatment projects have been carried out in the mining area since 2010, and a set of sand injection grouting method based on manual feeding has been developed, adopted and evaluated. In this study, the previous treatment methods were modified. A set of safe and efficient filling treatment technology for shallow small kiln goaf in eastern Inner Mongolia grassland was developed and successfully applied in Baorixile Mining Area. A total area of 700,000 square meters of small coal mined-out have been remediated through an injection of nearly 100,000 cubic meters of sands. The implementation results demonstrate that the fine sand is preferred as the goaf filling treatment material. The result is satisfied with the following parameters: the design range of liquid-solid ratio is 1∶1-1.2, the grouting pressure is 0.8-1.0 MPa, and the grouting end stage is no less than 1.0 MPa. Compared with the previous sand injection methods in Baorixile Mining Area, the sand injection speed of this improved sand injection method is increased by 1.9 times and the cost is reduced by 77%. This method can be used as a typical technology to provide useful reference in the application research of the remediation of goaf of shallow small kiln in eastern Inner Mongolia grassland.
