Abstract:
An intelligent power management system based on constant current regulation of switching power supply and MCU acquisition control is designed to solve the problems of low charging efficiency, insufficient battery charging and short service life of nickel-hydrogen battery for mine. By testing and analyzing the working characteristics of Ni-MH battery and comparing the efficiency of switching power supply with linear power supply, a set of charging circuit and battery capacity determination and protection mode based on the principle of constant current regulation of switching power supply are proposed, which improves the charging efficiency. The test results show that the charging efficiency can reach more than 90%, and the discharge capacity of the battery can reach more than 95% of the rated capacity of the battery after filling, which fully meets the power supply requirements of the mineral products for the backup power supply.
