Abstract:
The surrounding rock of coal roadway is mainly bedded dolomitic limestone. The practice shows that the mechanical parameters of surrounding rock vary obviously in different directions, and it has typical anisotropic mechanical properties. It is an effective method to obtain anisotropic mechanical parameters by in-situ test. The in-situ rock mass deformation tests were carried out at different angles(0°, 30°, 45°, 60°, 90°). The results show that the curves obtained at different angles have different deformation laws. With the increase of angle α, the compressive strength and deformation modulus of rock samples decrease first and then increase in a “U” shape, with different angles of β (0°, 45°, 90°). The results of in-situ shear tests show that there are obvious differences in peak angle and residual strength, among which the attenuation degree of friction angle is different, while the cohesion changes slightly. According to the analysis of experimental results, the main reasons are the spatial orientation of joint and fracture deformation and the difference of rock modulus in each direction during the process of rock mass loading. The research results provide the basis for the mining scheme, stability evaluation and protective measures of the roadway.
