Abstract:
In order to study the influence of pressure and fault area on CO
2 migration in coal seam of a coal mine in Western Shandong Province, the cooling effects of CO
2 injection into coal seam with small and large faults under 6 MPa and 12 MPa pressures were simulated by Ansys-Fluent software. The results show that the influence of faults per unit area on coal temperature reduction is weakened after the faults reach a certain area and number. The main reason is that the excessive fault area disperses CO
2 injection pressure.
