Abstract:
To solve the safety problem of a mine in Shanxi Province when the coal seam is mined at short distance under the staggered distance of a single working face, we applied the orthogonal analysis to study the influence of seam occurrence parameters on staggered distance of the simultaneous mining faces by means of FLAC
3D numerical simulation. Results show that the occurrence state of simultaneous mining seam has a large effect on the staggered distance, especially the thickness of upper seam. When seam occurrence is unstable, the staggered distance cannot remain unchanged when coal seams are mined simultaneously. Based on the research results, the dynamic adjustment method of staggered distance based on coal seam occurrence state is proposed, which achieves good mining and supporting effect and has major implications on mining under the similar condition.
