Abstract:
Aiming at the design and service environment of explosion-proof trackless rubber-tyred vehicle in underground coal mine, the fire characteristics and main causes are analyzed. Starting from the three elements of fire (combustion improver, combustibles and ignition sources), it is concluded that the accumulation of oil and coal slime on the surface of trackless rubber-tyred vehicles and the disorganized rubber pipe cables are the main combustibles in the fire, and the accidental high temperature in the engine room and the cable wear and short circuit are the main ignition sources. Fire prevention countermeasures are proposed from several aspects of explosion-proof trackless rubber-tyred vehicle design and manufacture, maintenance, management and use. This paper mainly introduces three kinds of vehicle-mounted automatic fire extinguishing systems with different working principles, and compares their advantages and disadvantages as well as their applicability to explosion-proof trackless vehicles for coal mine.
