Abstract:
Gob-side entry driving of fully mechanized caving mining has important engineering significance in improving coal recovery rate and realizing safety and efficient mining. Based on the engineering background of 14203-1 working face transportation roadway of Majialiang Coal Mine, the experimental study of gob-side entry driving for thick coal seam was carried out. In order to ensure the stability and safety during the tunnel excavation, the corresponding requirements are proposed from the aspects of monitoring mine pressure, preventing and controlling water, coal pillar crack peeping, and fire preventing and extinguishing in goaf, safety guarantee system for gob-side entry driving of fully mechanized caving mining in island working face is established. It is found that the guarantee system can effectively solve various safety problems during roadway tunneling and ensure the safety of roadway.
