Abstract:
The stability of the slope under different mining directions is analyzed and compared with the recovery of coal at the edge of Antaibao Open-pit Mine to determine the best direction of mining, and the research methods are carried out through similar simulation. The results show that the initial weighing interval of slope mining is 45 cm (90 m) and the initial step distance of reverse slope mining is 40 cm (80 m). When the excavation is completed, the excavation length of final working face along slope is 280 cm (580 m), the final excavation length of the reverse slope face is 265 cm (530 m), and the recovery rate and slope stability along slope are better than that of the reverse slope. When the excavation is completed, the maximum horizontal displacement and vertical displacement along the slope were 0.93 cm (1.86 m) and 2.36 cm (4.72 m), respectively, and the maximum horizontal and vertical displacement of reverse slope were 1.01 cm (2.02 m) and 4.43 cm (8.86 m).
