Abstract:
In order to better study the stability of the wall along the roadway, using the orthogonal experiment and FLAC
3D numerical simulation, the effects of wall strength, width, depth, height and thickness of direct roof on the stability of the wall are analyzed, then the results of the simulation are analyzed to determine the importance of the factors and provide guidance for related research. The simulation results show that the deformation of roof and floor has similar variation trend when the wall width is certain, however, when the buried depth of the wall around the lane changes little, the variation range of roof and floor is small. But, when the wall width is 2 m or 3 m, the change is more obvious. This shows that when the wall width is relatively small, the stability of the roadside wall is easily affected by other factors, and when the wall width gradually increases, the stability of the roadside wall affected by other factors is small. Through the analysis of extreme difference of simulation results, it is concluded that the key factors affecting the stability of the roadside wall of the left and right lane are: wall width > buried depth of wall > wall strength > mining height > direct roof thickness.
