Abstract:
In view of the characteristics of special thickness of coal seam, easy spontaneous combustion, high gangue content and roof breakage in No.3 and No.5 merged zone of Madaotou Coal Mine, the main causes of easy spontaneous combustion of coal in fully-mechanized coal caving process were analyzed and determined, such as serious coal loss in goaf area, large air leakage at the end head, long time in the initial mining preparation period and retracement period. Based on the experimental study on 8209 fully-mechanized caving face, a forecasting and prediction system which is dominated by beam tube monitoring and supplemented by mine safety monitoring system and artificial detection is established. According to the characteristics of different mining periods, the system of control of nitrogen injection, blocking agent spraying, sealing end and yellow mud filling was formed. Application effect showed that the face did not appear abnormal phenomenon during mining, the goaf temperature was below 27 ℃, CO gas composition was within the normal range, C

6 gas never appeared. The accuracy and efficiency of comprehensive fire prevention system based on prediction and guaranteed by prevention and control were verified.
