Abstract:
Comparing with the traditional full-mechanized mining, the Y294 working face of steep thick coal seam of Tangshan Mine adopting the stagger roadway layout mining method which had changed the way of traditional roadway layout, the inturn and return air roadways should be arranged along the top and bottom plate respectively, so the behavior laws of mine pressure of the new mining method should be different from the traditional mining method. The behavior laws of mine pressure of steep thick coal seam with the stagger roadway layout were analyzed in the paper by using the method of FLAC
3D numerical simulation and the field observation, the stress and movement characteristics of the surrounding rock in the upper, middle and lower part of fully mechanized caving face of Y294 large dip thick coal seam in Tangshan Mine, the stress situation of the supports and the laws of roof pressure on the working face are obtained.
